General Policies: Medication

Students who need to have medication administered at school must have a medication order signed by a physician on file in the nurse's office.  

Medication should be delivered to the school nurse and stored be in a container that is appropriately labeled by the pharmacy or the physician.  

A second labeled container should be provided for field trip use.  

Students should not have in their possession any prescription or non-prescription medication.
