- There will be a Service Academy and ROTC Information Day on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Landstown High School and Technology Academy (2001 Concert Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23456) from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00
p.m. The program is for student’s in the 9th, 10th, 11th grade (and their parents) interested in pursuing an appointment to one of the nation’s services academies, or a ROTC Scholarship. Guests representatives will be available from South Hampton Roads Congressional Offices, Service Academies, Army, and Naval ROTC.

Bank of America is sponsoring the 2012 Student Leaders Program designed by the Charitable Foundation to recognize and encourage juniors and seniors making a positive impact in our
community. This program is an eight week paid internship in Washington D. C.

Please note that Chesapeake Public Schools is not responsible for supporting the

offer simply allows students and staff to purchase Office 2010 at an extremely

The Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation (CPSEF) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that works to promote and support the school division by securing both alternative and non-traditional funding sources. These include donations from businesses, employees, private citizens, trusts, endowments, and fund-raising events. The funds are distributed for projects including scholarships, teacher grants for creative classroom programs, and school needs including technology. Please consider designating this foundation when you donate to United Way or participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (the number is 14064) if you are military or a federal worker or the Combined Virginia Campaign (the number is 3347) if you are a state employee. This is an excellent way to provide extra assistance to your children’s public schools.

Students interested in applying to a United States Armed Services or gaining more information will be conduct each Thursday of the month during all three lunches in the cafeteria.

will be updated approximately once
a month during throughout the school
year. Notebooks containing notices of all available
scholarships are in the Guidance Office, the Media
Center and all Senior English and Government Classes. Some
information will also available on the DCH Scholarship
Page. These
notebooks will be updated weekly, as new scholarship info
arrives. Seniors should check the notebooks regularly.
